Does the equity plan need to be reported publicly or approved by the school board?

There is no public reporting requirement, and there is no requirement for board approval. 

However, districts must follow their local policies and procedures. And, best practice suggests that the work of the Equity Plan be aligned to the other required district and/or campus improvement planning processes.
